Viken Plan, the printed tights brand behind Sharon Stone's patchwork legs: prints, prices, sizes and reviews

Cranes, graffiti, polka-dot cats and the patchwork pair the brand says Sharon Stone wore in New York: what Viken Plan sells, what it costs and what buyers say.

Published on 7 min read

Blocks of dusty pink, burgundy, grey and beige running from the hem of a black leather mini skirt down to a pair of black ankle boots. That is the photo Viken Plan put on its journal on 31 March 2026: Sharon Stone, black leather coat, rust turtleneck, black beanie and sunglasses, leaving the Drew Barrymore Show in New York the day before, in what the brand calls its «Dusted palette geometric tights». Viken Plan is a small online brand that sells tights almost only as printed surfaces: cranes, graffiti, cats, patchwork. Here is what it says about itself, what the tights are made of, what they cost and what the people who bought them say.

What Viken Plan is, according to Viken Plan

The brand tells its own story in a few lines, and leaves out most of what a reader would want to know. The brand story page says Viken Plan is «dedicated to blending innovative design with high-quality hosiery» and that it brings together designers «from around the world». The description of its homepage adds a date, "Since 2014", that the rest of the site does not repeat. There are no founders' names, no city and no factory: we have not found them on the site or in the press, so we are not writing them.

What is clear is the product. In a journal post from July 2025, Elevating Expression Through Print Pantyhose, the brand calls printed tights "the heart of our brand" and its mission "to turn everyday tights into wearable artwork", released in "curated seasonal drops". The shop is organised accordingly, by theme rather than by denier: Animal, Artsy, Cyberpunk, Ethnic, Pop Art, Tattoo Print, Y2K, Vintage Retro, plus footless styles, socks and leggings. On Instagram, @vikenplan had about 69,000 followers and 196 posts at the start of November 2026.

Sharon Stone and the Dusted Palette

The Sharon Stone post is the brand's strongest card, and it is also its own: the journal page has a title and two photos, with no text and no photo credit. We have not found the tights credited by the press or by a stylist, so the attribution is Viken Plan's. What can be checked is the print. The Dusted Palette Tights on the shop have the same irregular blocks of pink, burgundy, grey, sage and beige seen in the photo, from the top of the thigh to the toe. They cost $39.90, in sizes S to XL; a footless version has the same price.

The look works because the print is the only pattern in the outfit. Everything else is black or rust, the leather absorbs light, and the tights carry the colour from the hem to the boot. The journal has a second celebrity post of the same kind, from 1 March 2026: Tami Roman in Viken Plan striped leggings on the Tamron Hall Show, again with only a title and photos.

The prints that sell

On the homepage, at the start of November 2026, the best sellers were four: Brown Graffiti Text (36 reviews on the site), Golden Crane's Wings Unfurling (34), Ethnic Geometric (57) and the Christmas check Winterberry Check (20). All four showed a list price of $59 and a sale price of $39.90, a 32% discount.

The cranes are the most delicate of the range: white wings and long feathers drawn on a nude base, so the tights read as a print on skin rather than a coloured leg. The graffiti pair works the same way, black handwriting and doodles on a nude ground.

Among the new arrivals are Scarlet Cheetah (red tights with a cheetah running up one leg, online since July 2026), X-Ray Floral Bird Skeleton and a pair, also from July, whose name explains it: Yayoi Kusama Inspired Polka Dot Cat Art Tights, yellow cats, pumpkins and dots in the style of the Japanese artist. The product name says "inspired"; the site does not mention any collaboration with Kusama.

The tights: what we know and what we don't

The technical details are on the size guide, not on each product page. Material: 87.5% nylon and 12.5% spandex, described as OEKO-TEX certified. Thickness: «50D velvet texture, semi-sheer». The guide does not say whether every print uses the same base, so we read it as the standard construction. Care is strict: hand wash in cold water, no machine, no bleach, dry flat in the shade.

Sizing goes by height and hips, with a weight reference: S 5'1"–5'5", hips 31.5–43.3 inches, under 110 lb; M 5'3"–5'8", 43.3–51.2 inches, under 160 lb; L 5'7"–6'1", 51.2–59.1 inches, under 200 lb; XL 5'8"–6'3", 59.1–66.9 inches, under 240 lb. Shipping costs $6.99, free over $99, and unused items with tags can be returned within 30 days. To compare these sizes with other brands, see our tights size chart.

What buyers say

The site shows its own reviews under each product. On Trustpilot, at the start of November 2026, the picture was different: a TrustScore of 2.0 out of 5 from 83 reviews, 69% of them one star. The complaints repeat: colours that fade after the first wash, products that look different from the website photos, deliveries that took weeks, and a price that one reviewer judged too high for the quality. The positive reviews talk about "bold colours", a "lovely soft fabric" and the packaging. Trustpilot reviews are not verified by the platform, but the pattern is worth knowing before spending $40 to $59 on a pair.

How to wear printed tights

  • One print per outfit. Like Sharon Stone: the tights carry the pattern, everything else is plain, in black or one colour taken from the print.
  • Pick up a colour. With the Dusted Palette, burgundy or grey in the jumper or the bag; with the cranes, white or cream.
  • Nude-ground prints for daytime. Cranes and graffiti on a nude base look lighter than an all-over coloured pair and work with a midi skirt.
  • Closed shoes for busy prints. Ankle boots or pumps in black stop the pattern cleanly; sandals add one more element.
  • Wash them like the label says. By hand, cold, flat to dry: with printed tights the colour is the whole point.

The photos

The product photos come from the Viken Plan online shop and are credited to Viken Plan; some appear to be digital renders rather than photographs of the real product. We have not reproduced the photo of Sharon Stone, which is on the brand's journal without a credit. Prices are those shown on the site in US dollars at the start of November 2026. The cover illustration is ours.

A Viken Plan pair is a painting you put on from the toe up: the Dusted Palette shows how good it can look, and the reviews say to check the colours when it arrives.
