Heist's new satin tights: the Thirty-Five Satin, Nude Shade 30 and the rest of the collection
A satin sheen on a semi-sheer 35 denier, in black and two nudes, plus hearts, a footless pair and stirrup leggings: Heist's new pieces, with fabric, sizes and prices from the product pages.
For years, shiny tights were the ones to avoid: the sheen of a cheap nylon, the opposite of the matt leg fashion asked for. Heist's new collection starts precisely there. Its centrepiece is the Thirty-Five Satin, a semi-sheer 35 denier with a satin finish, in black and in two nude shades.
On 16 September 2026, Pynck rounded up the new pieces: the Stirrup Leggings, the Thirty-Five Satin in black, the Satin Nude in Shade 30, The Heart patterned tights and the footless Thirty-Five Cut-Off. Below we go through them one by one, with what Heist's product pages say about yarn, construction, sizes and prices. We have not worn them: everything here comes from the brand's pages and the sources linked at the end.
Who Heist is
Heist is a London hosiery brand. According to FashionUnited, it started selling in late August 2015, and in 2017, with Toby Darbyshire as chief executive, it raised a $2.6 million seed round backed among others by Natalie Massenet, the founder of Net-a-Porter.
Its approach to tights began with a list of complaints. In 2018 Knitting Industry reported that the company had worked for a year with 67 women, and that the three most common problems were waistbands that dig in, itchy thighs and tights that slip down. The first design went through 15 rounds of sampling, and the waistband became a separate component, inspired by yoga leggings. That waistband is still the brand's main promise: on almost every new product page the line is the same, it «doesn't dig or roll».
The Thirty-Five Satin in black
The product page describes it as «35 denier, semi-sheer, seamless and gusset-free», a single-piece 360-degree knit «finished with a satin sheen that catches the light where a matte leg stays flat».
The details:
- Denier: 35, semi-sheer: some coverage, with skin showing through.
- Yarn: 85% polyamide, 15% elastane, knit in Italy by a specialist hosiery mill.
- Construction: no seams and no gusset, which Heist says means fewer tension points and less sagging. The brand calls it ladder-resistant through the leg.
- Waistband: high, meant to smooth the middle and stay put.
- Price: £35 on the UK site.

Product pages are written to sell, but this one does say clearly what kind of tights these are. A 35 denier sits between the classic sheer 15–20 and the opaque 40 and above. The satin finish adds light along the shin and over the knee, so the leg reads more dressed-up than with a matt pair of the same weight. If you are unsure about the weight, our guide to choosing the right denier explains what changes from 10 to 100.
When we checked the page, on 18 October, sizes XS and S of the black were unavailable, while M, L and XL were in stock.
The Satin Nude, Shade 20 and Shade 30
The same tights, in two nude shades. The yarn, construction and waistband are identical to the black, and so is the £35 price. What changes is the purpose: according to Heist, the satin finish makes the nude look like «a considered leg rather than bare».

The two shades are part of Heist's Nude range, which, the brand says, has seven shades «derived from data from 100,000 women». In the satin version only shades 20 and 30 are available, among the lighter ones on a scale that runs from 10 to 70. We explain how nude shade scales work, and how to test a shade on the leg, in our guide to make-up effect tights.
The Heart
This is the only patterned piece in the group: small black hearts scattered over a sheer black leg, «a romantic turn on the classic polka dot». The pattern, Heist specifies, is knit in, not printed.

The yarn is different from the satin pair: 79% Q-Nova by Fulgar, a recycled polyamide, and 21% elastane, also knit in Italy, seamless and gusset-free. The page does not state a denier. Price: £39. If dots are more your thing than hearts, we have traced the polka-dot tights of the FW26 runways.
The Thirty-Five Cut-Off
A 35 denier without a foot. Heist presents it as a lighter version of the cut-off it already sold in 125 denier, and explains its purpose: footless means it «works under boots without bunching».

The yarn is 68% Q-Nova recycled polyamide and 32% elastane, more elastane than the satin pair, and the price is £35. It is a piece for anyone who wears tights mainly under trousers or ankle boots, or who wants a bare foot in a sandal with covered legs.
The Stirrup Leggings
The most expensive piece, at £80, and the only one that is not tights. They are smoothing leggings with medium compression and a stirrup that loops under the foot, so that, Heist writes, «nothing rides up, nothing bunches at the ankle» under a boot or a heel.

The fabric is a peached microfibre, 81% polyamide and 19% elastane, completely opaque, with a bonded waistband. Stirrups are back on the runways this season too: we have collected brands and ways to wear them in our guide to stirrup tights.
The Perfect Ten, season two
Two of these pieces, the Thirty-Five Satin and the Stirrup Leggings, are also in season two of The Perfect Ten: ten pieces picked by stylist Aimée Croysdill from Heist's core collection, this year in black and ivory only. According to Heist's page, Croysdill dresses Nicola Coughlan, Olivia Cooke and Marisa Abela for the red carpet, and the edit has been on sale since 10 October 2026. The Industry, which announced it on 1 September, also listed The Body Studio at Selfridges in London, where Heist arrived in February, with prices from £25 (The Stocking) to £80 (the Stirrup Leggings).
The rest of the ten are the 18 denier Shimmer knit with lurex, The Stocking with its silicone band, the Zebra and Floral Lace Fishnet patterns, the Thirty-Five, The Floral Lace, the Fifteen and the Eighty Contour. "There are ten perfect pairs every woman should have in her drawer," says Croysdill, who adds that she and Heist's MD, Claire, "have talked for years about finding the perfect stirrup legging." The first season was launched in London on 9 October 2025.
Sizes and prices
All the pieces come in five sizes, XS to XL. In Heist's size chart for tights and leggings:
