Hailey Bieber's Calzedonia Rainy Glitter tights: the exact pair

Sheer black, striped from waist to toe with thin lines of silver glitter: that is what Hailey Bieber wears in the carousel she posted for Calzedonia on 28 October 2026, with a black off-the-shoulder top and black briefs and nothing else. The tights have a name, the Rainy Glitter Tights (style code MODC2258), and now a price, $42. A week ago, when her lace campaign came out, Calzedonia still marked them "coming soon".

The posts: three photos, one black heart

Bieber's carousel has three photos and a caption of two characters, a black heart and the tag @calzedonia. Fourteen minutes later the brand posted its own photo with the line "The latest Calzedonia drop, seen on @haileybieber". The press picked the story up the next day: Reality Tea and theFashionSpot both name the tights as Calzedonia's Rainy Glitter.

The pictures come from the same campaign as the lace looks: Calzedonia's US page for Bieber carries both sets, with images dated 21 October in the file names, and the banner for the glitter pair reads "Shine Through the Season". Bieber has been a global ambassador for the brand since the spring.

The looks, one by one

Standing, one arm up. The first photo in Bieber's carousel, above: a fitted black top worn off the shoulders, with elbow-length sleeves, cropped just above the waistband; black briefs; the tights from the waist down, with the glitter stripes catching the flash along the whole leg.

Lace on the bed. The second photo is the look from the lace campaign: the long-sleeved Lace Top over the Floral Lace Tights (MODC2197), both black, on white sheets.

In profile against the wall. The third photo in her carousel, and the one Calzedonia posted on its own account: the same top, a hand on the hip, the stripes running straight down the back of the leg.

Lying on an ottoman. The fourth picture is not on Instagram but on Calzedonia's site, as the banner of the glitter section: Bieber stretched out on a pale velvet ottoman, in small black sunglasses, one leg raised from the knee.

There are no shoes in any of the glitter photos: the tights are the whole outfit below the waist.

The tights: Rainy Glitter, black

The product page went live after the lace campaign. Calzedonia's campaign banner links straight to it, so the match is certain. What it says:

• sheer tulle with a striped pattern of printed glitter, not a knitted metallic yarn: the sparkle sits on the surface, in short vertical dashes;
• 90% polyester, 10% elastane, satin finish, comfort waistband, flat toe seam;
• part of the Deluxe Selection capsule, like the lace pair;
• $42 in the US, €29.95 in Italy, one colour: black (colour code 182F).

There is no denier on the page: tulle is not measured that way. From the photos, the leg shows through about as much as in a 20 denier sheer, which is why the stripes read as light on skin rather than on black. Two cheaper glitter pairs from Calzedonia

The same brand has two sheer black tights with glitter for $15 less. They are not the campaign pair, and the pattern is different, but the effect at a distance is close.

• Sheer Glitter and Dot Tights (MODC2241): 20 denier, glitter all over with small contrasting dots, cotton gusset, Deluxe Selection.
• Glitter Diamond Sheer Tights (MODC2240): 20 denier, glitter with a diamond pattern, cotton gusset. The diamonds are larger and more graphic than Bieber's stripes.

We looked for an Amazon alternative and did not find one close enough: the glitter tights there are opaque lurex, a different effect.

Why the stripes work

Glitter tights usually sparkle everywhere and flatten the leg. Here the glitter is drawn in lines, and lines do what pinstripes do on trousers: they run the eye from hip to toe. Bieber's styling adds nothing to compete with them, one black top, no shoes, a ring at most. The tights are allowed to be the only light in the picture.

How to wear glitter tights for Christmas and New Year's Eve

• One black, top to toe. Wear them as Bieber does, with black only: a black knit or a velvet dress, a black blazer, black pumps. The glitter needs a plain field. What else goes under a black dress is in our guide to tights colours with a black dress.
• Short, or very long. A mini or a short velvet dress shows the stripes; a floor-length slit skirt shows them as you walk. Midi lengths cut the line in half.
• A slim, closed shoe. Pointed pumps or slingbacks, as in Calzedonia's own product photos. Avoid sandals with straps and chunky soles: they interrupt the stripes at the ankle.
• No other shine. Skip sequins and lamé on top. If you want more, take it from the jewels, as in Chopova Lowena's embellished tights, and keep the rest matte.
• Pull them on slowly. Tulle with printed glitter does not like rings or long nails. Gather the leg and put it on from the toe, and wash it by hand.
